C.S. Lewis, The Signature Classics
Just finished re-reading the Signature Classics for the first time. The
ones that seemed like hard reads the first time didn't seem so bad this
time, proving that re-reading is an edifying experience. Of course, I
was in a bad place when I read them the first time, so my concentration
probably wasn't tip top. Even Abolition of Man, which seemed like a real
brain strain the first time was much easier to get through. I thought
I'd skip A Grief Observed this time around because it's very sad, but I
didn't and I'm glad... it's helpful as well. So... what to read next?
