Getting ready to start the second season of Star Trek TNG reviews tomorrow. Diane Maulder played Dr. Kathrine Pulaski in the second season. She's a Star Trek veteran and I thought I'd post a couple clips from the episodes she did back in TOS. She was gorgeous when she was younger.
I don't remember which order they ran in. The first is from an episode called Return To Tomorrow. Some aliens whose culture is long dead have their personalities trapped in orbs on their planet and they want new bodies to exist in. They end up taking over people on the Enterprise of course, Maulder being one of them. I think the idea of personalities in orbs was a kind of influence for the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini
The second is from an episode called Is There In Truth No Beauty? She is the escort for an ambassador that is so ugly that to look on him causes insanity. From the Medusan people. (Medusa, get it? Omg.. Roddenberry.) I can't remember how, but she ends up blind from the whole incident. Another great performance, anyway.
And I'll round it out with a good scene from an upcoming episode in the second season called Pen Pals. It's a good showing of Pulaski.
